Dalhalla is an old quarry which has been turned into an amphitheatre. The acoustics created by this unique environment is said to be something out of the ordinary.
This is a heavily edited version of Sissel's performance there in 2005. It's only 29 minutes long compared to the whole concert which I believe was almost 2,5 hours. I still haven't seen the complete concert anywhere, neither on TV nor on DVD. It's a given for my collection if it ever gets released.

UPDATE 20090215: Wilson's version of this concert, recorded from PBS, has been added. That version is about 55 minutes long excluding pledge talks and phone interview with Sissel. It's letterboxed 4:3 format and the files are 792MB all together.

Like an Angel Passing Through My Room and Bereden väg för Herran are so sensational. The beauty is beyond words. It is quite unfortunate that they don't release a DVD on this concert.

I too have been looking for an official DVD and also hoped that some TV channel would broadcast the full show. Wilson recorded the PBS version which is half an hour longer than this one. It's a letterboxed 4:3 version but if anyone is interested I can share it.

How can anyone on earth resist the live performance of Sissel?

BTW, though I have a snail-speed internet connection, I don't mind to spend hours for downloading the high quality videos here.

"Marble Hall" can't be any better.

It seems that they will not release the DVD. Without you guys, I will certainly miss the chance to enjoy this spectacular performance. Thanks again.

i am getting 0.0% availability for the PBS version... can someone "seed" this (I think that's the term) please? it is quite urgent; I will not have access to torrents for 3 months after the next few days...

Since I am the only one sharing (as usual) I only allow one download per user at a time. Anything else would only make your downloads go slower. The PBS version will start when you've finished the documentary you're downloading now... unless someone else helps out and starts sharing the PBS video again.
