Panasonic Happy Xmas Show (20081223)

I created new torrent file and now you guys can download mpg files instead of m2ts file.

See the new thread.

Quote:
Because I recorded this show in AVCHD format, I'm gonna post .m2ts file first.
You may need 'Media Player Classic - Home Cinema' to watch this.

For those who can't watch .m2ts files successfully, I will post mpeg files later (maybe on this weekend).

I don't have any software to cut m2ts files so it contains 2 songs ("War is Over" and "Symphony") in 1 file.

Code:
Filelist:
War_is_Over_Symphony.m2ts
Code:
Filesize: 845MB
Recorded: 2008-12-23
Aired: 2008-12-23, NTV, Japan, "Panasonic Happy Xmas Show"
   Video: AVCHD(H.264/MPEG-4) 1440x1080i 29.97fps AR 16:9
  Audio1: AAC 5.1 390kbit/s
  Audio2: N/A

Thanks Yasuko. Just so you know - the video is actually standard MPEG2 and not MPEG4. The audio is AAC but my software seems a little confused about the format and can only pick up 2 channels at 128kbit/s. What is your setup? How do you receive and record the program and with what equipment?

Let me explain that by a PM later. It's really complicated because of the Japan-only streaming format.

Don't worry. I'm just generally curious of all the technicalities. Just wanted you to know that anyone who can play the other MPEG2 videos here should be able to play your m2ts files too if their computers are fast enough. They will need a codec for the MPEG2 audio though. You should in principle be able to edit these files with your regular tools but I suspect they choke on the audio. I can open the files and edit the video in ProjectX (which is MPEG2 only) but it doesn't recognize the audio so I can unfortunately only save the video after editing.
